I don't watch that show so I had no idea they had to pay for their own clothes and make up. Guess I thought the make up was done by the people of the show.
Never watched that show but if its all one race.. its kinda borin bc the US is full of diversity.
I can’t begin to express how happy I am to see videos like these that directly and openly challenge the obvious & blatant racism that exists not only within the Bachelor but in all American reality television. It’s one of the main reasons why I don’t watch it. So many racist interactions & production choices happen right in front of everyone that is never acknowledged and it leaves me feeling like I’m crazy because of this. THANK YOU!
Chelsea, can you please do a rant/analysis of SAY YES TO THE DRESS and how it compares to actual wedding related budgets & planning??!
To say nothing of (a) the show creators own track record with women, wives in particular, (b) the host’s transformation from wholesome husband/father to, well, not, (c) and the simple fact that seriously dating 2-20 people is the worst plan in the history of dating to build trust and develop a healthy foundation for married life.
Lol I have the same feeling about Sister Wives! 😆
Half this video had nothing to do with finances. Please stop click bait.
Aside from the last part, I have a hard time finding empathy for the contestants.
These are the same people that raise the beauty standard and monetary standard for success on instagram and in the work place… thus making things like being a careeer woman more expensive. Promotions shouldn't be given on who is "most presentable" or "what successful people look like according to the media". No one should need to get surgeries or spend $400+ on look maintenance (tan, lashes, hair, nails, waxing etc) to be promoted.
These are the same people who continuesly self-promote and step over others instead of helping their communities. Maybe some of them are more normal and kind… but they choose to associate themselves with this culture.
No one should be harrassed but other than that … no empathy from me …
I feel like the racism is the most profitable thing about the bachelor
Please do one dragging Love Island . It’s my favorite reality show but there are definitely problems
laughing at sexual harassment at the start, bad optics
1. Show's diversity issues
2. Racism amongst contestants
3. The cost of being casted
4. Few couples actually make it
5. Sexual harassment lawsuit
Couple of these truth – yet important – don't really dive into cost of the show
When you casually said "countless failed engagements" 😂😂😂😭
I have a hard time complaining about lack of diversity in something that I think is just stupid to begin with.
Why would we want minorities to share our shame?
Tldr: bachelor racist, poc should have the ability to make bad decisions too, women spend more money on looks and reality shows couples don't make it
Not to mention the problem with size inclusivity as well. 😒
I don't understand people who are aware of fakeness and frankly damaging moral influence of reality shows and yet keep watching. If the viewership drops enough, they'll stop making them. Do your bit and boycott this tripe.
Holy cow I had no idea that Bachelor was THIS bad (but also I'm not surprised…)
It seems like a bunch of people are complaining that this horrible show isn't diverse enough. 🤷♀️ It's a trash show, like all reality TV programs. I would simply like to see people finding something better to do with there time.
We stan a financial ally
I personally find the Bachelor franchise insufferable and disrespectful to the institution of marriage.
